Fans Reckon Daredevil's Matt Murdock Was In The Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer

It's a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, but fans are pretty convinced Charlie Cox is in the movie.

The first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has dropped and we've been given an epic look at the multi-verse.

The third instalment in the franchise shows Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) struggling with having his real identity exposed to the world.

He calls on Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to see if he could dip into the timeline and stop Mysterio from revealing his true name.

However, an error during the spell causes a ripple in time and it looks like all hell breaks loose as a result.

The trailer shows this ripple leads to classic characters from within the Marvel universe to return, including Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx).

Fans who have seen the trailer also reckon there are literal blink-and-you-miss-it moments that point to other characters.

Some claim Charlie Cox, from Marvel's Daredevil TV series, is pictured in the scene where Peter Parker is answering questions from the police.

Cox's character, Matt Murdock, is a 'lawyer by day', which could allow him to represent Spider-Man when he's being quizzed by authorities.

While it's tough to know whether it really is Charlie on screen, people on social media seem to think it's definitely him.

One person said: "HOLY S**T WAIT IT LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE HIM!! MATT MURDOCK STANS WE MIGHT WIN!!!"

Another added: "My King better be back, that's all I know."

A third wrote: "AAHHH!!! Daddydevil is coming!!!"

As with the Marvel Cinematic Universe tradition, we will probably get one or two more trailers for the film, which could shed more light on whether Matt Murdock will be helping Peter Parker battle the issues of the multi-verse.

There is also speculation we'll get to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles as Spider-Man.

But for now, fans are just super stoked to see the likes of Doc Ock, Green Goblin and Electro back on the screen.

The film is slated for release on December 17 2021 so there are only a few more months until everything is revealed.
