The first trailer for the fifth season of The Handmaid's Tale promises an epic battle is coming.
Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) plays the part of the grieving wife perfectly in this one-minute teaser, however it's clear she's out for revenge.
While June (Elizabeth Moss) thinks she's finally found safety after escaping from Gilead, it looks like she's never truly out of harm's way.

The protagonist brutally murdered Serena's husband, Commander Fred Waterford, in the fourth season and she has no remorse.
"I want her to know that it was me," June can be heard saying in the trailer.
While June's husband Luke (O-T Fagbenle) tries to get her to 'forget about' Serena, it seems it's not so straightforward.
"I feel Gilead pulling me back," says June, while a clip of Nick flashes on screen.

The sneak peek at the upcoming season looks like we will get one hell of a showdown between these two powerhouse women.
The clip ends with June defiantly saying: "You want to fight? Let’s fight."
But that's not the only problem that June should be worried about as Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) continues her warpath to power back in Gilead.
Yvonne Stahovski admitted she wasn't sure where they were going to take her character after Commander Waterford was killed.
Speaking to Deadline, she said: "I keep imagining her moving forward.

"Frustratingly, for the audience in a capacity where she gets out and things work out and she gains some kind of political traction.”
The Handmaid's Tale showrunner Bruce Miller told The Hollywood Reporter season five will also pick up from that cliffhanger from the previous instalment.
Luke found June covered in blood and holding her daughter Nichole in her bedroom. He sank to the floor as he realised what has happened.
Miller said: "That moment at the end is her as a mother knowing she had chosen something that makes her feel like she can never be a mother again.

"She’s holding that baby and she’s thinking to herself this way, as a mother, and then she thinks of herself that way in the woods with dead Fred, and then she thinks of herself as a mother again and that’s where she is.
"Those two things are pushing up against each other... You put those two things together when she believes, and I think we as the audience believe, that those two things can’t coexist."
Season 5 of The Handmaid's Tale drops on 14 September on Hulu.
