Harry Styles Says He Would Be Up For A One Direction Reunion

The singer recently sat down with Spout podcast while reminiscing on his rise to fame and time with the iconic boy band.

Directioners, you may want to sit down for this one because Harry Styles has confirmed he’s keen for a One Direction reunion.

The Harry's House singer recently sat down with the Spout podcast and reminisced on his rise to fame and time with the iconic boy band.

When asked by host Tamara Dhia if he was open to getting the band back together, the singer-songwriter responded with: "I don’t know.

"I mean, I think the thought of it is really nice, I’d love for there to be a time where it felt like something we all wanted to do."

Dhia also brought up One Direction’s albums, including Up All NightTake Me Home and Made In The A.M, to which Harry said: "I very much enjoyed those albums that you mentioned."

He added: "I think we all went through something really special together, and there’s a lot of love there.

"So, yeah, I think if there’s a moment for us to do it the right way, I think it’d be great."

Throw Shania Twain in the mix, and we’re so there.

Of course, his response has sent the internet into a frenzy, with many on Twitter thrilled with the possibility of Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Louis joining forces once again.

Brace yourselves for the amount of Caps Lock.

One person wrote: “HARRY TALKING ABOUT A 1D REUNION??????? NAH THIS YEAR CERTAINLY FEELS LIKE A DREAM”

Another commented: “SORRY POTENTIAL WHAT AGAIN.”

A third person said: “CAN YOU PLEASE NOT? WE ARE FRAGILE.”

Another person wrote: “Did I just wake up to Harry Styles talking about One Direction reunion or is it still a dream.”

Some have speculated that the reunion wouldn't happen in the short term as Harry is very busy with his world tour.

In addition to that, he's also appearing more on the big screen. The highly anticipated Don’t Worry Darling is set to be released in September.

One person wrote: “He was held at gunpoint to say this.”

Another said: “Media training paid off.”

A third person commented: “Harry, sweetie, I don't think that's gonna happen, but keep dreaming.”

While another fan said, they’d be happy for the band to reunite, so long as it excludes one member, writing: “We want Liam to stay at home.”

Liam made headlines earlier this month after his controversial statements while speaking on Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive, stating he ‘disliked’ Zayn during his time with the band.

The singer continued to comment about the former band member’s relationship with Gigi Hadid after Zayn was accused of ‘striking’ his mother-in-law Yoland Hadid, according to Mamamia.
