Rapper Lil Uzi Vert has achieved something few people thought he would - or would even want to. And what was this feat? Well, he's implanted a $24 million pink diamond into his forehead, as you can see below:
He flagged earlier this week that he was preparing to embed the precious stone into his head and many thought he was joking.

It's a reasonable assumption - it's one thing to spend that amount of money on a precious stone, and another to have it attached to your face. Well, it looks like it wasn't a joke after all.
Posting a video to his Instagram, Lil Uzi Vert proudly showed off his new facial jewellery and viewers were left flabbergasted.
One person commented on the video, joking: "Thanos is on his way bruh."
Continuing the Avengers gag, another said: "My guy wearing the last infinity stone."

A third fan simply wrote: "I'm lost for words."
Some people also tried to say the rapper's new bling wasn't in the centre of his forehead, something Lil Uzi Vert sought to clarify.
"It's actually in the middle," he wrote on Twitter. "When the swelling goes down I'll get a short bar so it won't move. Y'all keep talking 'bout it's off 'cause of the long bar in it so it can move, cause of the swelling."

The rapper said all his luxury cars and his house haven't been able to offset the extraordinary $24m price tag commanded by the gemstone.
The 'Free Uzi' artist told his Twitter followers: "I've been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now.
"This one stone cost so much I've been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond... A lot of M's in my face."

Unsurprisingly, the diamond is the most expensive thing he's ever bought and he says he will 'never do it again'. Funny that.
When asked by a fan why the hell he wouldn't just immortalise the stone in a piece of jewellery, he wrote in response: "If I lose the ring yeah U will make fun of me more than putting it in my forehead ha ha jokes on you ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... And yes I do have insurance."
Hilarious.
Look, he's not wrong there and it certainly would allow everyone who walked past him to see the expensive piece of rock.

Lil Uzi got the near 11-carat diamond from Elliot Eliantte, who is known for selling precious stones to the rich and famous.
A quick glance at Elliot's Instagram page shows he sells unique necklaces, watches, shoe inserts and other things that are literally dripping with diamonds.
