With the epic Glastonbury 2019 fresh in the minds of music lovers everywhere, it's no surprise that people are already desperate to get their hands on tickets for next year. Glastonbury 2020 will mark the 50th anniversary of the much sought after event so undoubtedly tickets will be snapped up in no time. We've got the lowdown on how to secure your Glastonbury tickets.
This year, Stormzy headlined the main stage at Glastonbury Festival, becoming the first black British solo artist to do so. During the set, the 25-year-old musician took to the stage wearing a Union Jack printed stab jacket and displayed a load of statistics relating to crime during his song 'First Things First'.
2019 was also headlined by pop-icons, Kylie Minogue, Janet Jackson, Miley Cyrus and goth-rockers The Cure. The Killers put on a show to remember by bringing out The Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Marr during their Saturday evening set. 2020 is set to be the biggest year yet at Worthy Farm, and definitely not one that you're going to want to miss out on.
When is Glastonbury Festival 2020?
According to the official site, Glastonbury 2020 will be taking place from June 24th - 28th 2020. More information about the tickets will be revealed in autumn.
How to register for Glastonbury Festival 2020?
If you're serious about getting tickets for Glastonbury 2020, you MUST register beforehand here.
Registering doesn't guarantee you a ticket, but you definitely won't be getting one if you don't.
When do Glastonbury Festival 2020 tickets go on sale?
Glastonbury 2020 tickets will officially go on sale during the first weekend of October, but you'll have to be quick off the mark to get them. If you haven't registered by then, it'll be too late as you'll need to have your registration number on you to book them.
Once the day arrives , you'll need to rush over to glastonbury.seetickets.com at 9am. You'll need both your registration number and registered postcode for each individual person. Anyone twelve or under can't apply.
How much are Glastonbury 2020 tickets?
In 2019, each ticket cost £248 plus a £5 booking fee per person. These prices are subject to change. As soon as we find out the details we'll update this page, so stay tuned.
Anything else worth knowing?
Again, registering is very important. If you don't do it before the deadline you won't be able to apply for resale tickets either.
Glastonbury 2019 was the biggest one yet, bringing lovers of all genres of music together. In fact, the morning after, an army of volunteers and staff are took to the fields with bin liners and an iron will, to restore the site to tidiness.
