Lenny Kravitz Says He And Jason Momoa Are Still 'Brothers For Life' Despite Lisa Bonet Split

Lenny Kravitz Says He And Jason Momoa Are Still 'Brothers For Life' Despite Lisa Bonet Split

The legendary singer added that the Aquaman star is his 'ride or die'.

Given all the intense headlines coming from the West-Kardashian family, some families still thrive after divorce.

Jason Mamoa and Lenny Kravitz’s bromance is the epitome of that.

Over the weekend, Kravtiz took to Instagram to express his love for the Aquaman actor and posted a photo of the two on motorcycles with the caption, ‘Ride or die. Brothers for life.’

And the feeling is mutual as Mamoa commented: “Love u bro. Ohana fo life."

Even Kravitz’s daughter Zoë commented: "Well, isn't this just adorable. Love you both so much."

Kravtiz and Mamoa were both married to Lisa Bonet; Kravitz tied the knot with Bonet in 1987 and they separated in 1993, while Mamoa started dating The Cosby Show actress from 2005 and they announced their split earlier this year.

Kravtiz’s appreciation post comes after Mamoa, who separated from Bonet in January, is rumoured to have reconciled with her after she was spotted wearing her wedding ring while shopping in Topanga Canyon in California last week.

The couple, who share two children, Nakoa-Wolf, 13, and daughter Lola, 14, took to Instagram (in a post that has since been taken down) to announce their split.

They wrote: “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times,” the couple’s joint statement began. “A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.

“And so We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.

“The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become.”

The post went on to say that the couple’s priority moving forward would continue to be their children.

Earlier this month, Mamoa disclosed via his Instagram how hard the separation has been in the public eye, but thanked his fans for respecting his family's privacy.

“We had a wonderful time in NYC. mahalo to the fans and press for being generous and giving us space for the children it’s hard enough separating in the public eye.

“We appreciate the continued privacy through these times aloha j.”

However, despite the couple’s separation, Mamoa, in the same post, gushed about Bonet's daughter Zoë for her work in her latest film, The Batman, after attending the premiere on March 2.

“So excited for everyone to see @thebatman @zoeisabellakravitz your perfect as cat woman i’m so proud of you. so excited for @snl next week your going to kill it," he said.
