World's Scariest Man Martyn Ford Wants To Challenge The Rock To A Fight

World's Scariest Man Martyn Ford Wants To Challenge The Rock To A Fight

Although Ford is set to take on the Iranian Hulk at London's O2 Arena, he's already got ideas for who his next opponent will be

Martyn Ford, the 'World's Scariest Man', has revealed how he'd love to challenge Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to a fight as they would 'make a fortune'.

Now, bodybuilding giant Ford is best known for his rather terrifying nickname and he certainly lives up to it, standing at six feet and eight inches tall and weighing just under 23 stone.

After years of practicing MMA and boxing, alongside being an actor, the bodybuilder is set to take on Sajad Gharibi, who is best known as the Iranian Hulk, in 'the fight of his career'.

The pair will be stepping into the boxing ring at London's O2 Arena on 2 April this year, but despite the eye-watering training regimes the men have both been enduring, it seems as if Ford already has his eyes set on his next opponent.

And this opponent is none other than the wrestling legend himself - Dwayne Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson would certainly be a match for Martyn Ford.

Johnson, who is now one of Hollywood's most beloved actors, has an overwhelming career history in professional wrestling and is considered as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Speaking to Muscle and Health about his upcoming fight and how he's been preparing himself, Ford revealed why he'd love to take on The Rock in the boxing ring.

“I’d love to challenge The Rock to a fight,” he said.

“We’d make a fortune. It would be a phenomenal fight, because he’s a great athlete. He’s very mobile, strong, and comes from a wrestling background.”

Well, there's no doubt that a fight between Ford and Johnson would certainly be an interesting one.

And Ford is clearly a man who feels no fear from his opponents as he has insisted the Iranian Hulk's extreme training regimes - which have included him punching concrete walls and rip apart melons - haven't scared him one little bit.

"The Hulk’s training footage is kind of demoralizing [sic] in the sense that I don’t want to watch it and think I’m just wasting my time because I could beat him up now,” he explained.

“He’s in for an absolute world of s**t. He really is. I would not want to be him.

"Throwing people around, pretending that you’re bloody John Cena from Iran, is kind of embarrassing.

"I don’t like it when people disrespect the sport of boxing.

"If you’re going to do it, fine, but make sure you’re training for it.

"Make sure you’re eating right. Make sure you’re doing everything to be the best athlete you can be and respect the sport."

He added: "If you’re just trying to make a quick couple of quid, you’ve got to question the ethics of it."
