Following the recent news that Marvel’s newest series Secret Invasion has begun filming in Leeds, TV and film-buffs everywhere want to find out all about this exciting new mini-series.
Based on the comic book story of the same name, the Disney+ series depicts an invasion on Earth by the Skrulls, who are essentially alien shape-shifters who have inhabited the bodies of the MCU heroes over the years.

Who is in the cast of Marvel’s Secret Invasion?
If you’ve seen any of the tabloids in recent moments, you won’t be surprised to learn that the new show will see Samuel L Jackson once again playing Nick Fury.

Joining him as his extraterrestrial ally, Talos, is Ben Mendelsohn, who was recently introduced in the 2019 film Captain Marvel, as well as Spider-Man: Far From Home in the same year.
It’s been reported that The Lost Daughter’s Olivia Colman and Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke will also be cast in the series, but their roles have not yet been announced.

When is Marvel’s Secret Invasion release date?
Considering the filming for Marvel’s Secret Invasion has only just begun, it’s too late for a release date to be known just yet.
Filming recently kicked off in Leeds, but Disney+ have yet to confirm when the series might hit our screens.
However, ComicBook.com has previously reported that the Marvel Japan website has removed Secret Invasion and What If...? season 2 from its list of releases for this year.
This could suggest that the series may not hit the streaming platform until as late as 2023.
