According to Celebrity Net Worth, Meat Loaf had an estimated net worth of about $40 million (£29 million).

He started his career in performing at a young age, initially appearing in school productions.

After college, Meat Loaf moved to LA and started his first band, Meat Loaf Soul, which was inspired by his football coach’s nickname for the star.

He then went on to perform in musicals like Hair and The Rocky Horror Show, as well as performing with fellow music legends like The Who, The Stooges and Alice Cooper.

In November 2021, Meat Loaf announced via his official Facebook page that he would be returning to the recording studio with his band in January 2022 to record seven songs for a new album.

It is not clear yet whether those songs were recorded before his death, and whether they will become a post-humous album for the singer.
