What Is Meghan Markle's Net Worth In 2022?

Meghan has made the fairytale journey from American actress to British royalty, but what is she worth?

To mark The Queen’s platinum Jubilee, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have flown back to Britain to appear alongside their fellow royals throughout this weekend’s festivities.

Making their first UK appearance together since stepping down from their royal duties, Meghan (40) and Harry (37) are remaining low key as they stand alongside fellow royals to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this weekend.

Since leaving for the states in January 2020, the couple have created multiple projects, including their foundation Archwell, a deal with Netflix, and multiple podcast series.

What Is Meghan Markle’s Net Worth In 2022?

Whilst online reports are divided, Forbes estimates Meghan and Harry have a joint net worth of around $10 Million since their hollywood move. Prior to her marriage with the prince, Meghan was estimated to have a separate net worth of $5 Million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The actress-turned-duchess first found success in the US, holding small roles throughout the early noughties in dramas such as General Hospital, Century City, The War at Home, and CSI:NY. She also famously had a stint as a briefcase girl on the US game show Deal or no Deal

She landed her preeminent role in the USA Network legal drama Suits, where she portrayed Paralegal Rachel Zane. It was reported by Fortune Magazine that the actress was earning up to $50,000 per episode, rounding out to about $450,000 a year.

She began to date her second husband in July 2016, before the pair announced their engagement in November 2017. Her and Prince Harry were married in the May of the following year, and quickly took on their roles as active royals. It wasn't until early 2020 when they announced they’d be stepping down and relocating to Meghan’s home country.

Following their departure, the couple founded their tripartite organisation Archewell, hosting a foundation, production studio, and audio studio. Still in its early stages, they aim to use the platform to ‘unleash the power of compassion to drive systematic cultural change.’

Currently, Meghan resides with her family in a $14.7 Million home in California’s Montecito area. The house, which featured as the backdrop to the couple’s tell-all interview with US talk show host Oprah in 2021, is fit with six bedrooms, sixteen bathrooms, a library, and spa.

Their UK base Frogmore Cottage, which is situated on the grounds of Windsor Castle, underwent a $3 million renovation before the pair moved across the pond, for which they have reportedly reimbursed the royal family for, and where they will be staying for the Jubilee weekend.
