Mike Tyson has given his fans a grim update about his future as he warns his end is nigh.

The legendary 56-year-old boxer says he's noticed parts of his body recently and is worried about how much longer he has on this earth.

Speaking on his Hotboxin' podcast, Tyson said: "We’re all gonna die one day of course. Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face.

"I say, ‘Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.'”

He didn't elaborate any further about his health or even if his health was a concern.

Iron Mike reflected on how he's less focused on making boatloads of money because he feels it doesn't automatically translate into love and happiness.

“Money don’t mean s**t to me," he said.

"I always tell people: they think money’s gonna make them happy, they’ve never had money before — when you have a lot of money, you can’t expect nobody to love you.

"How am I gonna confess my love to you when you have $500 billion?

“The false sense of security.

"You believe nothing can happen. You don’t believe the banks could collapse. You believe that you’re invincible when you have a lot of money, which isn’t true.

"That’s why I always say money is a false sense of security.”

He said all the money in the world won't stop you from the regular processes of life or the tragic circumstances that can affect all of us.

"When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security?" he questioned.

"That means you won’t catch a disease, you can’t get hit by a car? You can’t jump off a bridge. I don’t know. Is that security? Can money secure you from that?”

Tyson has definitely become more introspective in recent years and opened up about how certain experiences have changed his life.

During an interview with Sugar Ray Leonard on his Hotboxin' podcast, he broke down in tears as he reflected on how he's a different person to the man who was the heavyweight champion of the world.

"I'm working on being the art of humbleness [sic]," he said.

"That's the reason I'm crying, 'cause I'm not that person no more, and I miss him.

"When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security?" he questioned.

"And, it's not funny at all. It's not cool like I'm a tough guy. It's just that I hate that guy, I'm scared of him.

"That guy's kind of dead now... but that wasn't easy. That guy didn't want to leave. He wasn't leaving easy. H

"e fought, screamed and cried and scratched all the way until he died, you know?"

Iron Mike remains the youngest fighter to ever win a world heavyweight title, having beaten 33-year-old Trevor Berbick in 1986, when he was just 20-years-old.

He now sells an array of cannabis products through his company Tyson Ranch.
