Mila Kunis' 'really poor' parents have never accepted any money from her

Mila Kunis has revealed she's never been able to give a single penny to her parents, despite the family having been 'really poor'

Mila Kunis has revealed she's never been able to give a single penny to her parents, despite the family having been 'really poor'. Have a listen to her open up about the situation below:

In 1983, Mila Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, a city in the south west of Ukraine, to a chemical engineer named Mark and a physics teacher named Elvira.

When Kunis was just seven years old in 1990, her, her brother and parents fled Ukraine - which, at the time, was part of the Soviet Union - having suffered persecution under the communist regime.

Despite how her parents fled the country to move to America with only $250 in their pockets, neither Mark nor Elvira have ever accepted any money from Kunis, despite her having gone on to become a hugely successful and wealthy actor.

And Kunis has since opened up about her parents continuing to refuse any money from her.

In an interview with YouTube channel Unreal Money, Kunis explained how her family were still 'really poor' when she 'had money'.

Despite this, the actor noted she's 'never been able to pay for dinner' for her parents.

The 39-year-old continued: "Like to this day, I have never... I'll be like, 'Let's go out to dinner for your birthday Dad'.

"And then he calls the restaurant before we get there and puts his card down."

Kunis noted how much she would 'love to treat' her parents, especially considering she's a 'grown a*s woman,' but how neither her mother or father will have 'any of it'.

"This has been a huge problem. [...] I cannot stress to you how stubborn they are. And by the way, they're going to be listening to this going, 'That's right!'" she said.

Kunis' sense of despair over her parents not even accepting a dime from her is well justified considering the actor is said to have a total current net worth of a whopping $75 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Known for her roles in films such as Friends with Benefits, Luckiest Girl Alive and TV series such as That '70s Show, Kunis reportedly earned a mega $100,000 per episode of Family Guy for voicing the character of Meg.

On top of this, Kunis is also married to fellow highly successful actor Ashton Kutcher who is said to hold a net worth of $200 million.

Combined, the pair are subsequently not far off $300 million and yet despite this, Kunis' parents refusal holds strong.
