Sometimes unexpected musical partnerships can produce beautiful things. I mean, just think about that not-at-all-awkward Christmas collab between David Bowie and Bing Crosby, where the former posed as the latter's long lost relative's new next door neighbour and they have a sing-song of 'Little Drummer Boy' around the piano. Or that lovely rendition of 'Sweet Child o' Mine' with Slash and Fergie from Black Eyed Peas.
Okay, so maybe not all of them are exactly beautiful - but certainly memorable.
Well, now there's another iconic union to add to the annals of history, thanks to a new track from two of hip hop's biggest names... And Ed Sheeran.
Announcing a collab with Eminem and the 'Shape of You' singer, 50 Cent said he and the LADs had 'had fun' recording a song together the night before.
I recorded a song last night with Eminem & ED Sheeran, I had fun doing it we got some heat. #lecheminduroi #bellator pic.twitter.com/GGE6WxISKO

And you know what? The feedback from fans so far is almost entirely positive.
One person tweeted: "50, Em & Ed in the same track? Can't wait!!"
Another said: "Yess new decent music can't wait for this heat."
Someone else commented: "You already know it's gunna be [fire emoji x3]."
A fourth added: "Can't wait to hear it fam!!! Keep doing the damn thing!"
Sheeran has worked with Eminem before on his single 'River', but this will mark the first time the British musician has collaborated with Fiddy.
50 Cent, meanwhile, has been making the world wait for his forthcoming sixth album, Street King Immortal, the follow-up to 2014's Animal Ambition.
He's been a bit busier with other projects recently, having added to his credits as actor and TV producer - oh, and causing more beef with Ja Rule, obvs.
50 Cent recently took their ongoing feud to a pretty hilarious new level when he not only bought out an entire section at a Ja Rule concert to make it look empty, but then also posted a picture of the empty seats on Instagram with him photoshopped into it.
Posting it on Instagram, he wrote: "What a show, I mean just fucking great. Do it again my kid went to the restroom. LOL #bellator #lecheminduroi."
You've got to admit, while it's petty as hell, that's some pretty expert trolling.
