They've removed their website and put up a cryptic message.

Good news for fans of plaid shirts, high-pitched vocals, and top hats. It looks like Guns N' Roses could be about to release some big news.

It looks as if the band might be gearing up to tour the UK with their Appetite For Destruction' album. Several billboards have been spotted around London that show the band as they were back in 1987 when the album was released.

They've also changed their website so it just has a banner screen that reads: "DESTRUCTION IS COMING" with the hashtag #APPETITEFORDESTRUCTION.

The album featured several of GNR's biggest hits including 'Sweet Child o' Mine', 'Welcome to the Jungle', and 'Paradise City'.

The album will celebrate the 31st anniversary of its release just after this year's Download Festival, which GNR will headline.

We don't know what it means yet, but it could be a reissue of the album, or it could be a reunion tour with original members Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin. We will have to wait and see.

Guns 'N' Roses

The band are currently out on their hugely popular 'Not In This Lifetime' tour, the European leg begins in Berlin on June 3rd.

That would seem to make it more likely that the big news will be a re-release of 'Appetite For Destruction' rather than a reunion of the line-up.

Over the years Guns N' Roses gained a formidable reputation as a party band and they ended up falling out on a few significant occasions. After getting himself sober, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin quit the band because he couldn't be around the other guys who were still using alcohol and drugs.

He also fell out with lead vocalist Axl Rose, but so does everyone else, it turns out. Since 1994, Rose has been the only continuous member of the band. Guitarist Slash and bass player Duff McKagan rejoined the band in 2016 and they've been on the road and are intending to release new music.

Steven Adler played drums at a one-off show back in 2016 but has since found his opportunities to play with the band limited because of an ongoing back injury.

Rose himself has also been playing with AC/DC after hearing loss forced former singer Brian Johnson to retire.

Officially, they band has released six albums in total, but none have been anything like as successful as 'Appetite For Destruction'.

A reunion and tour of their most successful album would surely be a huge money spinner for the band.
