Ed Sheeran's Tattoo Artist Says Some Of His Ink Is 'S***' But They're All Very Personal To The Star
Ed Sheeran's tattoo artist has said he thinks some of the singer's tattoos are s*** but that they're all personal to the star, which is the main thing, right?
Multi-award-winning tattooist Kevin Paul has done a number of Ed's tats and says that they all have a meaning to the pop star. But, whether Kevin likes them is a totally different matter...
Speaking to the Mirror about the criticism Ed's ink gets from some fans, Kevin said: "I agree with most of it, his tattoos aren't very good.
"And I take the piss out of Ed all the time, when I'm with him, that they are s***.
"They are! But every single thing that he's got is personal to him."
He went on to say that Ed's tats, which include Pingu and a gingerbread man, are 'what he wanted' - well, you can't ask for more than that, can you?
Kevin has done more than 40 of Ed's tattoos, including the massive lion in the centre of his chest, which he had done to commemorate selling out Wembley Stadium.
Tattooing one of the most successful musicians in the world has been a bit of a mixed bag for Kevin, who says it has its ups and downs but that, ultimately, he wouldn't change a thing.

"The thing is with Ed; he is the best thing to happen to my career and the worst," he explained to the Mirror.
"Before I started working with celebs l was a multi award winning artist doing great work.
"Then after doing Ed, mainly that client base dropped off and I was known for doing tacky little cartoon style tattoos for him and Harry Styles.
"Everybody just thought I was s*** but I'm not. I do great realism work that's what I won awards for.
"I'm the artist known for Ed's tattoos, but I only do the main bits, all the little bits are done by his manager's mate.
"I just get the blame for them, but I don't regret working with them as it's changed my life and opened amazing doors for me to do great things."
Kevin says he doesn't let the negative comments or 'haters' bother him and that when people DM him to give him grief he just deletes it, blocks them and moves on. Nicely done.
