While the name Hans Zimmer might not register with some people, his music definitely will have.
If you've watched The Lion King, The Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, Interstellar, Gladiator or The Dark Knight trilogy then you will have soaked up some of his best work.
The German composer has been the man that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats with suspense, crying with severe sadness or bopping along with joy at some of his lighter tracks like 'Spider Pig' from The Simpsons Movie.
He's produced the score for more than 120 films and he's bringing that magic to Australia later this year.
Hans Zimmer said in a statement: "Performing a concert series like 'Hans Zimmer Revealed' was something I always wanted to do in Australia and I'm thrilled that I got to do that in 2017.
"I'm now beyond excited that I'm able to do it all again in 2019, with a new show, and the help of some very talented friends. We're looking forward to seeing you again soon Australia!"
Audiences have been promised a 'multi-layered experience' that will showcase the back catalogue of one of the best composers of our time.
He'll take to the stage at Brisbane Entertainment Centre October 3, Qudos Bank Areana in Sydney on October 5 and Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena October 7.
The production company behind the concert said: "After selling out several arenas during his previous tour, Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer has today announced his hugely anticipated return to Australia, with his follow up 'Hans Zimmer Live'.
"Having previously wowed audiences around the world in 2017, during his 'Hans Zimmer Revealed' tour, the iconic composer will return to the stage in 2019 for three massive shows in Australia, hitting Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, The Entertainment Center in Brisbane and the prestigious Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne."
Tickets can be bought here and go on sale June 17.
