Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris has shocked viewers of tonight's BRIT Awards by...erm...being Scottish.
The hit-maker was at the awards to accept the British producer of the year gong, but people at home couldn't quite get their heads around the fact he was speaking with Scottish accent.
Because he's Scottish.
One wrote: "What the fuck, Calvin Harris is Scottish? And such a broad accent. Shook."

Another posted: "Genuinely didn't know Calvin Harris was Scottish."
"I don't think I've heard Calvin Harris speak and it's really freaked me out," another viewer chimed in.
Not everyone was a massive fan of the discovery, though, one said: "I had no fucking idea Calvin Harris was Scottish and now his accent ruins how attractive he is."

Ahh, I'm sure he'll get over it...
Other people were aware he was Scottish, but taken aback by quite how strong an accent he actually has, with a lot of folks realising they'd never heard him speak before:

Meanwhile this fella was even more confused:
Calvin is indeed Scottish - in case you were one of the ones who didn't know - he was born in Dumfries, but now resides in LA.
And if your mind was blown over the fact he was secretly a Scotsman, then wait until you learn that Calvin Harris is a stage name -his real name is Adam Wiles.

It's been a good night for Calvin though. As well as bagging producer of the year, his song with Dua Lipa's - One Kiss - also scooped an award for best single.
