Coldplay fans have discovered a secret 'five-minute rule' to bagging tickets for the band's sold-out Wembley gigs.

In case you missed it, the British pop-rock group are preparing for 10 huge shows at the UK's largest arena, with the first performance taking place on Friday, August 22.

There are still a handful of resale tickets available on the following sites: StubHub, Viagogo, and Ticombo.

Due to overwhelming demand, Ticketmaster recently released a batch of extra production tickets; but getting hold of the golden tickets is no easy feat, so fans are sharing a 'hidden hack' to boost your chances of making it to checkout.

On Reddit, one fan said: "Try to check Ticketmaster often. Once you enter the page for your date, refresh every five minutes."

Another agreed, as they wrote: "I've managed to get tickets on Ticketmaster. You just have to keep refreshing. I got mine about 11pm last night."

"You have to check several times a day but yes, it's luck.." a third said. "I was lucky enough to get tickets for two dates at Wembley. You have to look last minute on the same day, there may be tickets [available]."

What time will Coldplay start at Wembley Stadium?
