Northern fans have been pleading with the Smiths star to add a Manchester date to the run following his hugely successful shows at the Co-op Live Arena, but for now it's a trek to London as this has been billed as an 'exclusive' show.
He announced the news with a simple message, writing: “It’s a date! Morrissey is pleased to announce one night at London’s The O2, in a UK exclusive show on Saturday 28th February 2026.”
Morrissey and The Smiths
Morrissey recently said he had 'no choice but to offer for sale all of his business interests' in his former band The Smiths.
On his website he wrote: “I am burnt out by any and all connections to [Johnny] Marr, [Andy] Rourke, [Mike] Joyce. I have had enough of malicious associations. With my entire life I have paid my rightful dues to these songs and these images. I would now like to live disassociated from those who wish me nothing but ill-will and destruction, and this is the only resolution.”
