Metallica fans are scrambling to buy tickets for the band's M72 UK Tour, as the 'absolutely stacked lineup' has been confirmed.

In case you missed it, the LA hitmakers are bringing their legendary run to this side of the pond for the first time in two years.

Next summer, the heavy metal quartet, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, will perform six shows in the UK and Ireland.

They'll be in good company too, as the band will be joined on stage by Knocked Loose, Gojira, Pantera, and Avatar - and the news has gone down a treat with metal heads.

On a Reddit thread, one fan shared: "Europe always has the best lineups for metal shows. God damn, this is epic."

Another agreed, as they wrote: "Absolutely stacked lineup, definitely trying for London."

A third added, "Avatar is AMAZING! Glad they are getting to be part of this tour!"

In keeping with tradition, no show will have the same set list or support act either. So, where can you still buy tickets, and how much do they cost?
