Oasis fans have responded to the 'surprising' set list seemingly shared by Noel Gallagher ahead of the band's massive reunion tour.

Noel was speaking in an interview this week when he dropped some major hints about the much-hyped set list, and it's fair to say it's caused quite a stir.

He also shared his surprise at the controversy surrounding ticket sales, with just a few legit tickets still available for sale.

In his chat with photographer Kevin Cummins, the Britpop legend shared his surprise at the huge demand for reunion tour tickets, as he said: “I thought it'd be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”

During the chat, he was also asked to choose his favourite Oasis song, and fans think his answer might be a clue as to what to expect on the upcoming set list.

“Can I have more than one?” he asked. “Supersonic, Some Might Say, Live Forever, and Rock'n'Roll Star.”

Reaction to the rumoured 'set list', one fan wrote on Reddit: “Would be surprised actually if they played Some Might Say. I don’t think they ever did it in the 2000s.”

Another disagreed, as they replied: “I’d say it’s guaranteed, Noel called it the essential Oasis song and was disappointed it couldn’t be played after 2000 in the original key because of Liam’s voice.”

A third said the potential set list isn’t groundbreaking, as they commented: “I’d have been very surprised if these four songs weren’t included in the set list anyway. Imagine them not playing Live Forever.”

However, when LADbible reached out to confirm, Oasis representatives declined to comment.

The speculation comes only a few months after Liam Gallagher said a rumoured set list circulating social media platform X ‘wasn’t far off’ the real thing. The set list in question features the same songs Noel mentioned in his latest interview, including Some Might Say, Supersonic, Live Forever, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.
