Dappy stops gig to start fight with security guard as Tulisa intervenes

Dappy stops gig to start fight with security guard as Tulisa intervenes

You can't get any more British than this.

N-Dubz’s UK tour is giving fans an injection of some much-needed nostalgia, as they rally up in their masses to watch the 2000s Hip-Hop trio do their thing once again on stage.

Made up of cousins Dappy and Tulisa, and singer Fazer, the group had 23 tour dates planned across the UK this autumn before they light up the stage across 11 UK-based festivals and shows in the summer.

But their shows in London didn’t come to the best ending yesterday, as Dappy stopped the gig on 24 November to seemingly start a fight with security guards - and honestly, it couldn’t get any more British than this.

Addressing the security personnel during their show at The O2 Arena, Peninsula Square, with about a hundred ‘ois’ before dubbing him ‘big man’, the 35-year-old rapper asked the doorman in the pit to ‘stop’.

Dappy, born Costadinos Contostavlos, said to the guard in the crowd: “Aye brother, don’t do that bro.”

Attempting to curb Dappy’s fight, Tulisa then walked towards her cousin on the stage, saying: “Let’s crack on, come on Dappy. Here we go.”

Of course, a visibly riled-up Dappy took no notice of his bandmate and continued: “Are you not listening? Are you for real man?”, while Tulisa approaches behind him and looks to give him a whack on the back.

Their London shows didn't end in the best way.

“Yeah exactly, exactly,” Dappy continues in his rant. “Walk out bro… Right, everyone point at this guy and ‘boo’. One, two, three.”

The crowd reacts just as their instructed by the performer and boos in time with Dappy, while he adds: “It’s our show, it’s our show.”

“Let’s get on with it then,” Tulisa playfully banters in response. “As you were saying Dappy.

“Come on Daps’,” she urged.

It is not clear who exactly Dappy was directing his strong words towards, although the TikToker who posted the video, @celineuraon, suggested that he was ‘beefing the security’.

LADbible has contacted a representative of Dappy for a comment on the matter.

Elsewhere, the band are already gearing up for their slew of summer shows, which are set to include sets at Isle of Wight Festival, Dreamland in Margate, Kent and a show at London’s Gunnersbury Park in which Tion Wayne and venbee are supporting.

They shared the news on Instagram, writing: “See you in the Summer!!! @iamfazer @dappy100 @tulisacontostavlos.”

Tickets are on sale now for N-Dubz's summer show dates on Ticketmaster.
