New Netflix doc about dog who inherited $400 million is being called a ‘f*cking trip’

"Gunther's Millions is a f**king trip - rich people are unhinged."

Netflix's latest documentary has had quite the reaction from audiences.

Gunther's Millions follows a dog who inherits a hefty sum of money - hundreds of millions to be exact. And the internet is calling the film a 'f***ing trip'.

With an initial summary like that, who can blame them?

You can see some of the madness in the trailer below:

Streaming on Netflix, the synopsis for the docseries reads: "A dog with a trust fund isn't the strangest part of this story. "Gunther's eccentric handler also lived a luxe life — with a cult-like entourage."

The limited-series, which was released this year, only offers four episodes in the first season.

The first episode, titled 'Lucky Dog', explains a little more about Gunther, the German Shepherd who inherited $400 million (approximately £331.8 million) from his owner.

The documentary has it all - money, secrets and a cute dog.

One woman who 'worked' for the dog says that Gunther is 'worth $400 million (approximately £331.8 million)'.

Gunther is soon revealed to a dog of expensive taste, owning a 'yacht' and 'several properties in Italy'.

However, there seems to be more than meets the eye when it comes to this story, as there might be some hidden secrets about people behind the wealthy pooch.

And it's clear that viewers couldn't wait to share their views on the bizarre new series.

Flocking to Twitter, one person posted: "About to start episode three of Gunther's Millions on Netflix.

"Lord, what am I watching?"

They added: "When you think you've seen it all, another twist is right around the corner. Each episode seems like an entirely different story, plot and theme."

The series is definitely not lacking twists and turns.

Sharing a similar bafflement, a second wrote: "I feel disrespected as a human being after watching."

Totally shocked by the documentary, a third commented: "I am in absolute disbelief at how this planet works when I watch things like this."

"Watching Gunther's Millions and I've never watched such a bizarre story in my entire life," posted another.

"How do you leave millions to a dog? How is that even legal? How do you even become the spokesperson for the trust fund of a dog? A dog?" they asked in total shock.

While someone else said: "No one can quite prepare you for the plot twists in Gunther’s Millions. I’m so effing confused!"

One Twitter user went as far to call the new docuseries a 'f***ing trip' before calling rich people 'unhinged'.

Gunther's Millions is available to stream on Netflix.
