Netflix urges fans to search 81466194 code if you don't have much time
Trying to pick what to watch from Netflix's endless stack of movies and shows can be overwhelming.
Sometimes you want to watch something but you have no idea what, so you end up scrolling through your options for an eternity before finally settling on rewatching Friends for the umpteenth time.
But, there's a hidden trick that could make your viewing experience so much better and Netflix is urging fans to give it a try.

Among the plethora of films and TV series ready for your viewing please, the streaming platform has a treasure trove of secret category codes.
The ever-growing list has more than 36,000 codes and is perfect for users who know exactly what they want or want to try something new.
According Mary Bertone of Netflix's Curation and Taxonomy team, these codes date back to Netflix's earliest days, back when it was still a DVD-only service.
A fan scraped together the ID codes of all the platform's various types of films and TV series, which were available to the public on Netflix.com, and shared the list online.
People have been using the codes ever since, alongside the thousands more that have been added to the list.
Now, let's talk about how to access this secret menu of sorts.
Netflix tells us to fire up our web browsers and type in 'netflix.com/browse/genre/' along with the ID code for your category of choice.
And there truly is a code for everyone.
In the mood for 'Gentle British Reality TV,' type in 81240711. Or, try 81552046 if 'Witchcraft & the Dark Arts' is more your thing.
There's even an offering for those of us who don't have too much time on our hands (i.e. all of us).
Typing in 81466194 will treat you with a list of short and snappy films, all 90 minutes or less, features horror classics like Scary Movie and Halloween, perfect for spooky season.
But no worries if that's not your thing. The page is divided into subcategories to make it even easier to find the perfect flick to watch before bed.
Your home page will never be the same again.
