Losing a pet is a truly heartbreaking experience - after all, they're family members too.
Three years ago, Orlando Bloom was so overcome with grief that he couldn't bear to say goodbye to his dog Sidi when the poor pupper died, and went to extreme lengths to keep his pet around.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor decided to reach out to a company that would strip the deceased dog down to its bones, so he could be kept in the house.

Forty-two-year-old Bloom said he just felt he had to do it, posting a photo of the finished article on his Instagram account, with the caption: "Man's best friend...when you can't let go."
Speaking to Dogs Monthly about the tragedy, he said: "[Sidi] was a great companion and I was very upset when he died. I had his skeleton mounted so that he stays with me
"I know that sounds a little odd to some people, but it is quite tastefully done and I still get to say goodnight to him."
According to The Daily Star, he also said: "I just couldn't stand the fact that he was just not going to be around anymore."

And he even decided to keep Sidi's private parts as an ornament.
"They asked me if I wanted to keep the penis," he said. "What do you think I said? Yes! Actually aesthetically it didn't look quite right, so I have it on the side."
I guess that's what the little guy would have wanted, right?
But it's not just his dog's penis that has got people talking recently. You may remember a certain photograph of him paddle boarding alongside partner Katy Perry? Of course you do. It was a huge... news story.

Well, according to Bloom, his manhood isn't actually that impressive.
It looked so large that Orlando has had to actually downplay his penis in a recent interview with Howard Stern on his radio show.
He proclaimed: "It is really not that big. Things are expanded on cameras with a big optical lens. It is an optical illusion."

Orlando continued to expand on the saucy set of photos: "The publicist called to say, 'That is not the worst of it. First of all there were pictures with a block over it.'
"And you make some jokes like, 'Have you got a black box big enough to cover it?' And then you suddenly realise somebody is going to uncover the black box because they are going to be paid enough.
"It's a triple whammy - photos, black box, then no black box."
If that wasn't awkward enough, Bloom had to text his ex-wife Miranda Kerr to warn their eight-year-old son Flynn that his weapon would be shared all over the internet.

Miranda spoke about the situation in 2016 on Aussie radio station Kyle & Jackie O. She said: "Oh my god, he text me and he was like, 'Um, I'm really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know.' And I was like, 'Hmmmm ... right, what were you thinking? Seriously, what were you thinking?'"
