Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and AC/DC and more will join forces for mega concert that will rock like never before

The three-day mega-concert at the Empire Polo Field in Indio is set to take place later this year.

Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Iron Maiden, and the Prince of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne are planning to join forces for what is sure to be the most bonkers mega concert to ever grace the Earth.

Heavy metal fanatics, this one’s for you. This is called Power Trip.

And everyone, including the original rock and roll aficionado Lucifer will be clawing to get their hands on tickets to this one.

According to Variety, the world heavyweights in rock and roll will perform a three-day mega-concert at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.

And like a bat out of hell, you'd better believe we'll be there.

The event, which is a nod to the 2016 mega-concert Desert Trip, will take place later this year in October at the same place as the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Desert Trip featured legendary acts, including Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, the Who and Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters.

However, Power Trip could possibly be the biggest rock festival we've seen in yonks.

A teaser clip has already been posted to the page's social media accounts, with fans going absolutely foaming at the mouth.

One person wrote: "Screaming, crying, throwing up."

Another said: "This is WILD."

While another commented: "Sweating bullets!!!"

Fans were elated to know that Ozzy would be joining the tour, as the singer has suffered a string of health problems in the past few years.

In 2020, the singer, who has suffered from Parkinson's disease since 2003, recalled a 'nightmare' surgery he had shortly after a horrific fall the year prior.

In a revealing interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, the former Black Sabbath band member said he underwent several spinal operations after the incident, one of which temporarily left him unable to raise his head.

During the interview, he said that the road to recovery was long and, at times, agonising.

Sharon, who was also present for the interview, told Lowe that Ozzy was in a really ‘bad’ way just before the pandemic hit in 2020, adding that a surgeon performed 'a really excessive operation that he didn’t need'.

Sharon, who has been married to the rocker for over 40 years, added: "He [the surgeon] went in and took things out and put two big metal plates with screws and the body rejected them. And he [Ozzy] couldn’t lift his head up.

"The screws in the plates were coming loose and as they were working loose there was debris from bones and muscle and it was caught under his spinal cord."

However, much to the delight of his fans, Ozzy marked his comeback with a performance in Birmingham at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Next stop, Power Trip.
