Fans are fuming after N-Dubz cancels concert minutes before it was meant to start

Music fans have been left fuming after hip-hop group N-Dubz cancelled their show only minutes before they expected on stage to perform.

Gig-goers in Nottingham took to social media to complain after leaving Motorpoint Arena last night (November 22) without getting to see their beloved group act.

The band, who ironically has a song called 'You Better Not Waste My Time', released a statement on social media to apologise to fans.

"We’re so sorry we had to cancel the show tonight," the band wrote on Twitter.

"We tried to do everything possible to make the show happen, but a doctor advised at the very last minute that Dappy was unable to perform and needed to rest tonight.

"We had to take this advice seriously and consider Dappy’s health so that the rest of the tour can happen, which has so far has been amazing."

Their apology has not appeased fans at all, with many calling for the band to compensate those who had travelled to see the show.

One social media user said: "Reschedule and refund everyone for their hotels, trains, childcare etc."

Another added: "Some compo should be given! Refund us and then re arrange for us free of charge! Spent about £300 today on travel hotel and food."

A third fired back with: "You knew this wasn’t going ahead at 7pm, was on Dappy’s Instagram! Yet you know the show is going ahead at the O2 tomorrow? It’s not fair at all that everyone was left waiting. I sincerely hope you will reimburse and give everyone [who went] free rescheduled tickets."

The band broke the news to livid concertgoers with a projected message on the stadium's screens mere minutes before the band were set to take the stage, according to the Mirror.

One fan shared a picture of the cancellation notice, writing on Facebook: "Never been so savage in my life!

"Sat through two warm up acts! Been there since 6pm, N-Dubz due to start at 9pm.

"9:15 comes and an announcement comes on the screen telling us it’s cancelled due to illness."

The post added: "Dappy posted about having no voice hours ago!

"We sat there like absolute mugs while they had no intention of coming out."
