Ed Miliband is getting a bit sassy on Twitter. And funny. And savage. And a bit of a Bantersaurus rex; the Archbishop of Banterbury. N'Golo Banté. And we don't quite know what to think of it.
I never thought this day would come, especially after he was so roundly mocked for eating a bacon sandwich badly.
But after former chancellor George Osborne has been announced as the new editor of the Evening Standard (yeah, seriously) in London, Ed took to Twitter to mock him.
I quite like the idea of Ed Miliband as the editor of a glossy magazine, but perhaps this would be more suited.
Osborne's new job is not the first weird announcement this week as Tim Dowling points out. Noel Fielding as co-host on Bake Off? I can't imagine that The Mighty Boosh comedian has had that much cake in his life...
People are getting jobs they really shouldn't for a number of reasons. I wonder if now is the time for me to apply to be a ballerina?

Personally I can see him being the editor of a hair magazine, doing a column about how to get the bed head look.

I've just trawled Ed Miliband's Twitter account. Ed Milibanter more like! It looks like he's trying to rival James Blunt and JK Rowling as the king of putdowns and sarcasm. I'm not sure he's quite up there yet, but for a former politician, he's doing pretty well.
