The 10th film in the Saw movie franchise has finally been given a release date.

The saga is hitting a big milestone so you know they're going to go big with the gore and horrific games.

You can expect to see the film drop in cinemas around the globe on 27 October 2023.

It will no doubt spark a load of Halloween ideas as it premieres just before the big annual event.

Kevin Greutert, who directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter has signed on to direct the film.

He was also the editor for Jigsaw and the first five Saw films, so you know the 10th movie is going to be in safe hands.

Mark Burg and Oren Koules, producers of the franchise, said in a statement (via Variety): "We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love.

“And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon.”

There's no information in terms of what the film will be about.

However, it's tipped to capture our 'hearts — and other body parts — with all-new twisted, ingenious traps and a new mystery to solve'.

We. Can't. Wait.
