Ant and Dec make brutal joke about Seann Walsh and Matt Hancock cheating

This is brutal.

In things we thought we’d never see on live TV, both comedian Seann Walsh and British politician Matt Hancock have both descended on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers.

But it wasn’t long before presenters Ant and Dec took it upon themselves to make a brutal joke about Walsh and Hancock’s cheating accusations. Of course, they couldn’t resist.

“And we all know what happened when Seann was paired up with someone on a reality show,” Ant McPartlin quipped in light of Walsh’s cheating accusations following his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

“Let’s hope he doesn’t get off with his Hancock,” Declan Donnelly joked in response.

People have thoughts on the jokes.

Soon, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts at what they thought was a side-splitting moment.

“Ant and dec are killing me with all the Matt Hancock jokes #ImACeleb,” Becca wrote on the social media site, while another added: “ANT AND DEC MAKING THE CHEATING JOKES I CANNOT.”

Another wrote: “ant and dec cheating digs at matt & sean LOL #ImACeleb.”

Prior to the politician's arrival, apparently Hancock was receiving 'special treatment' in the run up to his arrival in camp.

Matt was supposedly given 'special treatment' in the run-up to his appearance on the show.

As fans of the show will know, most celebs spend the days leading up to their entrance into the jungle in isolation, meaning they're unable to have contact with the outside world - unless there's an emergency of course.

However, according to the Mirror, Hancock - who is MP for West Suffolk - was said to have been given access to a computer to respond to urgent work emails.

Apparently use of the laptop is monitored and he was not allowed to contact loved ones at home.

It comes as Hancock himself said that he would be able to respond to any 'urgent constituency matters'.

"As an MP, my first priority is to my constituents. I have agreed with the show's producers that I can be reached at any point on any urgent constituency matters," he wrote in The Sun.

The pair have joined the rest of the cast at the camp.

However, an ITV spokesperson told The Mirror that contact with the outside world was not allowed unless there was an emergency.

"You are correct to say that celebs cannot speak to the outside world at all unless there are exceptional circumstances ie. an emergency," they said.

The presenting duo Ant and Dec previously hinted at the politician's arrival during Sunday's opening episode.

"We've also got not one, but two late arrivals on the way. Fortunately, we've managed to keep their identities a complete secret. Nobody's got a clue who they are," said Ant.

Dec added: "You're gonna be so surprised guys. We'll be rolling out the welcome 'mat' for them very soon."
