Following Ashleigh Barty's shocking retirement from tennis, fans of the sporting star are now wondering what her career earnings are in 2022.

Barty made her tennis debut at the age of four in Brisbane, Australia, establishing a stellar junior career and even won the girls' singles title at Wimbledon in 2011.

In her teenage years, Ash Barty was successful in doubles at the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Tour in 2013.

The then-budding tennis player became a runner-up at three Grand Slam doubles, including the Australian Open, at just 16 years old.

Now 25-years-old, the well-established tennis player believes 'that the time is right now' to move away from a career in tennis.

What is Ash Barty's net worth?

As of 2022, Ashleigh Barty has an estimated net worth of at least $47 million (£35.5 million), according to the Daily Mail.

The publication reported that the tennis star earned around $32 million (£24 million) during her 11-year-long career, and also raked in an estimated $15 million (£11.3 million) from endorsements and sponsorships.

This makes Ash Barty the richest-ever tennis player in both women's and men's categories.

In 2021, the sporting legend impressively won both Wimbledon and two WTA 1000 titles in Miami and Cincinnati.

The Australian native hasn't lost any of her matches this year, even taking home two titles including the Australian Open.

Barty was sponsored by a plethora of brands including FILA, Jaguar, Gillette Venus, Vegemite and Uber Eats, as well as playing with tennis rackets designed by Head.
