Watching the following video, it's easy to see how people - say, a TV reporter, for instance - could end up thinking that the bloke on the shoulders of a football fan is Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. See for yourself:

OK, this guy looks the spitting image of the manager, but it seems this is also the sort of thing that people could imagine him doing.

The only problem is... it's not Klopp.

Unfortunately, an ITV reporter fell for the doppelgänger, believing him to be the former Borussia Dortmund coach, and even explained how he'd spoken to 'Klopp' at the match between England and Germany at Wembley yesterday (29 June).

Speaking on live television to Lorraine Kelly, reporter Jonathan Swain said the Liverpool manager had been a 'great sport'.

He added: "As I was going into the stadium last night I caught up with Jurgen Klopp as well, the Liverpool manager. Of course, he is German."

Check out a clip of him speaking to the Lorraine host:

Jonathan went on to say: "He was a great sport yesterday, chatting to many of the England fans as well.

"Even after the match he was on the shoulders of some England supporters drinking a can of beer."

He also dubbed the fake Klopp a 'tremendous chap'.

Jonathan even posted a picture of himself with the lookalike to his Twitter account... and inevitably, people told him he'd been done 'royally':

Replying to the picture, one person wrote: "Nobody actually thought Klopp would just rock up on his holidays, celebrating with the England fans in his full Liverpool training kit? Right?"

Wrong, it seems.

Another added: "I cannot believe you fell for it, clearly isn't Jurgen."

A third person wrote: "Hahahaha when you think a look alike is Jurgen Klopp on England fan shoulders."

When the initial video of fake Jurgen started to do the rounds on social media, one person said: "The thing is that Klopp would definitely do something like this."

Another suggested: "Would love it if Klopp goes out on the sesh pretending to be a Klopp lookalike."
