Twitter Reacts To Conor McGregor’s Post-Match Interview

“The double champ does what the f**k he wants.”

History was made last night in New York as Conor McGregor became the first ever UFC fighter to hold two belts in separate divisions simultaneously.

The Notorious squared up to veteran brawler Eddie Alvarez and dropped him three times in the opening round, before knocking him out in the second.

Understandably, the featherweight and now lightweight champ wanted to say a few words to mark his victory in the ring. But it was a bit much, even for him.

UK fans were the given right treat when McGregor came out with a fair few fucks (or very few fucks, depending on your position), in his post-match interview, with many viewers watching this through BT Sport.

"Where the fuck is my second belt," the champ said, along with a whole host of other profanities.

He also said in typical McGregor style: "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise... to absolutely nobody!" To be fair, that is top, top, top, A1 banter.

The thing is, BT Sport actually bleeped a load of it out. And people weren't too chuffed about it.

Lacking sleep, angry UK viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts. They didn't hold back.

Yeah, the adverts were particularly annoying!

And now I'd just like to take this opportunity to tell BT Sport to get the fuck over it!
