A woman has gone viral after she was 'humbled' by a concerned neighbour who stopped her on a morning jog.

Anna Grace Boswell, by her own admission, is 'relatively new to the running game' as she prepares for a half marathon at the end of the year.

She is also grateful to have 'neighbours who have each other's backs', which was certainly the case in a viral video, which now has over 11 million views on her TikTok (@artsyfartsyag).

The short clip begins with video cam footage from her house showing her set off on a run in the morning.

However, as she jogs past a house on her road, her neighbour Stanley shouted across the street: "Are you okay? Everything okay?"

"Yeah! Just going on a run," Anna replied.

Viewers were left in stitches as the mum appeared to 'be running from danger instead of for fun'.

Explaining what went down, she told People: "As many guessed in the comment section, I’m still relatively new to the running game.

"Three weeks ago I decided to run a half marathon at the end of the year and I’ve been following a training plan, five days a week, since.

"I guess you can say I’m in the honeymoon phase. It’s still early in the relationship but I really, really love it.

"I’m a mom to two toddlers, so running has been an incredible way to reset after a long day.

"Stanley is just an awesome human being.

"He used to rent across the street and has since moved out, but he’s still around all the time, as you can clearly see in the recording.

"So even though he no longer lives across the street, I’ll always think of him as my neighbour.

"I was shocked when he asked if I was okay because in my mind, I looked very cool.

"I had on my running vest, hot pink shorts, and my favorite running shoes. I was feeling myself.

"He humbled me for sure. But he’s such a genuine guy. I knew he only had pure intentions.

On her 'awesome' neighbour, she said: "Stanley is a DJ and had a pretty busy weekend after I posted the video, so I was very nervous someone was going to tell him he went viral before I had a chance to show him the video myself.

"But when I finally was able to show him the video, he got a really big kick out of it."

Commenting on the clip, one viewer said: "You can hear the concern in his voice. What a sweet guy!"

A second added: "He’s like this is new ain’t never seen her run."

"1. He was genuinely concerned. 2. He wants to know if he too, needed to be running," quipped a third.
