Let the Saturday night shenanigans begin...

Ant and Dec had a daft laugh making Hollywood A-Lister Mark Wahlberg feel 'uncomfortable' during a piece on the brand-new series of Saturday Night Takeaway, which airs this evening.

Yes, the Geordie twosome are back on the telly for more light-entertainment Saturday night shenanigans, and they've dragged along an all-star cast with them.

On this occasion, the two ubiquitous presenters have been messing around with Transformers and The Departed star Mark Wahlberg.

They decided to make his life a misery during a skit they are calling 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Out Of Me Ear'.

Basically, the pair have a secret earpiece link to one or other celebrity guest - on this occasion, none other than the artist formerly known as Marky Mark.

Their celebrity guinea pig must then cut about the place doing absolutely everything the presenting pair tell them.

Hence how they managed to make him so uncomfortable

Speaking on Chris Moyles' Radio X show, Dec said: "We met him in his restaurant in Covent Garden, Wahlburgers.

"And we give him the ear-piece in the beginning and we say, 'Look Mark, here's your ear-piece, do you promise to do and say everything we tell you to?'

"He took the ear-piece and looked us in the eye, never cracked a smile and went, 'By the end of this, you two will be saying and doing everything I tell you to do.'"

Ant continued: "It's actually better that he's slightly uncomfortable because you like seeing those faces where he's just like, 'Nope, not doing that, I'm not doing that.'"

Anthony Joshua and Craig David are also set to appear in this series of Saturday Night Takeaway.

They've managed to convince a few other big names to take part too. Dec revealed: "We've done Anthony Joshua, heavyweight champion of the world.

"We've done Craig David as well, so they are all coming up this series."

As well as celebrity-embarrassing skits, the pair will also be playing a few of their now-infamous pranks on a few unsuspecting stars.

Speaking to fellow TV legends Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, the Britain's Got Talent presenters confirmed that not only are the pranks back, but some of the celebrities have had a bit of a strop about it.

Ant told them: "We have had a couple who have been quite grumpy about it.

"It takes a while for them to see the funny side."
