Here's a glimpse of Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke in horror anthology Murder Manual, in which she stars as a haunted circus performer - watch the clip below:

Murder Manual is an anthology of eight 'creepy, terrifying chapters' now streaming on Amazon Prime, which includes a short film called Shackled that Clarke starred in back in 2012.

While Clarke's tale follows 'a girl who is held captive by a circus that must be rescued by her husband', others in the series also include 'a little girl's journey from a world of nightmares into the nightmare of reality', 'a gay couple's romantic getaway in Palm Springs that turns murderous' and 'a young woman whose rideshare turns deadly'.

The eight episodes tell different stories, but producers said they are all connected in some way, encouraging viewers to play close attention to each one to work out what links them.

It also stars Hadley Fraser (The Legend of Tarzan), Sylvia Panacione (Jane the Virgin), Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity 3) and Bryan Manley Davis (The Devil's Well), with directors including Michael Escobedo, Kelly Hallmark, Matt Newton, Sam N. Powell, Toni Tikkanen and Nour Wazzi.

After the trailer dropped, many fans were excited to catch Clarke in action once again.

One person commented on YouTube: "Damn, actually looks like a good horror movie, I'm kinda surprised."

Another said: "I see Emilia Clarke in a horror movie and I'm like hell yah!!!"

A third added "This actually looks really creepy! Fingers crossed it lives up to this trailer."

The anthology is available to watch now on Amazon Prime, but one viewer has managed to watch it all already and has shared their thoughts on IMDb.

Explaining that Murder Manual is a 'collection of short films released in the 2010 decade', the reviewer said the films are 'mostly supernatural in nature'.

"The films are of varying quality, some good some not so good," they wrote.

"Included is a short film called Shackled which Emilia Clarke did back in 2012 (early on in her GOT timeline) and they rather cynically split the film into two parts to make it look like a 'wraparound' story.

"Shackled is only 12 minutes in length in total, so if you're watching for Emilia, you'll be disappointed. But it gave them a big name star to use to push the film.

"As a fan of short horror films, I was sort of entertained. But not sure it's for everyone."

Sounds like all you can do is try it out for yourself; Murder Manual is available to watch on Amazon Prime now.
