Disney+ Has Launched In The United Kingdom Today

Not a moment too soon...

As you've no doubt noticed by now, things are a bit strange at the moment. We're all being asked - not unreasonably, mind - to stay at home for the safety of ourselves and others.

With that in mind, it's a damn good thing that - after what feels like an age - the Disney+ streaming service has finally arrived in the United Kingdom.

What's more, you can start watching for a week's free trial by clicking this link and getting started.

Yes, as of today you can access pretty much the entire House of Mouse back catalogue, as well as a whole host of other popular shows and family favourites.

Not bad if, let's just say, you are being asked to confine yourself to the house for the foreseeable future.

So, assuming that you're on board and want to get started, what can you find on there to get you through these straightened, but above all, boring, times?

Disney

Firstly, there's The Mandalorian. It's an absolute must for all fans of the Star Wars franchise. Sure, loads of people 'somehow' managed to get hold of it when it aired on the US version of Disney+ last year, but for those who aren't as 'savvy', now is the time.

On top of that, there's pretty much every single Disney movie that you could think of - including the new live-action Lady and the Tramp - and a whole host of spin-offs featuring, for example, Forky, the vastly popular character from Toy Story 4.

Speaking of vastly popular characters, how about a science programme presented by none other than Jeff Goldblum?

Yup, the Jurassic Park star features in The World According to Jeff Goldblum, which is presumably a story about world that is slightly leftfield, but ultimately likeable and familiar.

Life, uh, finds a way...

Anyway, as well as all of that, you can access the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe quicker than Thanos can snap his fingers, while the Pixar collection is also there, as is National Geographic content.

You could watch every single episode of The Simpsons - though whether anyone would want more than the first 13 seasons is debatable - and every Star Wars movie, while you're at it.

Sounds like a decent deal, right?

Well, as of today, you can get stuck into it all.

As you may have spotted above, click through on this link to test it all out for seven days, completely free of charge.

What are you waiting for?
