Gordon, Gino and Fred's new show starts tonight (27 September) - this time taking viewers on a road trip through Greece. You can watch a clip below:

In the first episode of Gordon, Gino and Fred Go Greek, the trio take in the sights of stunning islands Crete, Santorini and Mykonos.

At one point, they sail around the Santorini coast to the picturesque village of Oia, where they meet Grandma Catrina, who shows them how to make a traditional moussaka.

Gordon knocks up a salsa verde to go alongside, but Gino is delighted when Catrina criticises how much salt Gordon's added.

"Today there is one thing that we all learned: even God can make mistakes," Gino jokes.

"If he can make mistakes like that - we all have a chance in life!"

Speaking ahead of the show's debut, Gino said it was 'amazing' to see Gordon trip up.

He said: "Watching him grovel to Grandma Catrina was a beautiful moment and to top it off Grandma Catrina loved my Gino Vino!"

When asked what the 'most annoying thing' his travel companions did on the trip, Gino replied: "Fred's driving is always very annoying and very slow.

"Gordon throwing sand all over the sausages on BBQ was not ideal - if anyone else did that he would have gone crazy!"

Elsewhere in the episode, the threesome explore the ancient city of Chania; have a go at making bougatsa, a local delicacy made from filo pastry and sheep's cheese; take a mud bath in Santorini's volcanic hot springs; and check out the magical party island of Mykonos.

Gordon said viewers can expect 'everything they've come to love about me, Gino and Fred creating havoc and cooking great food in beautiful locations' from the new series'.

Fred also said filming the new show was so amazing that he 'cried' when it was over, recalling: "It was fantastic, it really was. It was just so nice to be out again with Gordon and Gino, back on the road together, especially after the unprecedented times and the pandemic.

"I've been to Greece a couple of times before with friends and family, but the things I do with Gordon and Gino - I cannot do with anybody else I know! The last adventure we had in America was just something else. I cried so much when it was over."

Still from a previous series.

Gino added: "The last trip with Gordon and Fred was very, very cold so it was brilliant to be back in the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful islands together.

"I loved being able to captain the boat and making the guys say 'YES CAP!' to me.

"We had lots of fun but we also had some lovely, special moments together too."

D'aaaw, you guys.
