Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay got the shock of his life on last night's episode of Gordon, Gino, and Fred: American Road Trip when he discovered his daughter Tilly was on a dinner date with his travelling companion Gino D'Acampo's son Luciano.
Tilly, 18, was out for tea with the younger D'Acampo at London restaurant Heddon Street Kitchen, when he decided he'd check in on his dad after he was involved in a nasty buggy accident on the trio's journey through Mexico.
During the video chat, Luciano decided to tease his dad and Ramsay by asking 'do you know who I'm with?' before spinning the camera around to reveal he was sitting alongside Gordon's daughter.
Ramsay sprung into action, asking: "What the hell? Tilly! What are you doing, Matilda?!"
He later added: "You didn't tell me you were going to dinner with Luciano,"
His daughter - in a tone that is no doubt familiar to any parent of teenagers - responded: "Oh, sorry. I must have forgot."
Fred Sirieix, who was seemingly enjoying himself as the only member of the three-strong team not to have a child involved in the situation, then ramped up the awkwardness by saying: "It's OK to kiss on the first date, if you feel the urge, you've got to do it."
Ramsay simply said: "Mamma Mia!"
Despite this initial date, it seems as if the pair remain only friends. At the end of last year, Tilly decided to quash the rumours of a relationship between herself and Luciano by sharing a photograph of her with her actual boyfriend Seth Mack.
When she shared the snap, with a caption that was simply a black heart, her family decided to give her a bit of grief about it all, anyway.
Her sister Holly said: "Someone tell Luci."
While her big brother simply tagged her famously short-tempered father and wrote: "Interrogation time."
As for Gino's accident, he's now made a recovery, but admitted he felt as if his life was in danger when he had the horrific smash.
He told Radio Times: "We did the Baja 400. I had a really big accident. I cut Gordon to win and lost control, and went straight into the van. I was going 70 or 80mph and I thought, 'I'm going to die.'
"The thing that scared me most was my fuel tank burst, I had petrol all over me. Fifteen seconds later Gordon smashed his buggy into the wall of the racetrack. So only Fred was left. But it was fun until I crashed."
Well, as long as it was fun, and everyone's still alive...
