Hocus Pocus 2 Is Definitely Happening On Disney+

Hocus Pocus is back and there's a new director working on the film's sequel for Disney+.

According to Variety, Adam Shankman will be working on the 1993 cult hit which originally starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.

Shankman, who has previously directed What Men Want and 2007's Hairspray, is currently in pre-production on Disney's Enchanted sequel which is titled Disenchanted.

Last year Collider reported that Disney had hired Workaholics writer and co-producer Jen D'Angelo to write the script for Hocus Pocus 2, while Lynn Harris will produce the film.
