Holly And Phil Interrupt Caller Busy 'Having Sex' During Spin To Win

This Morning fans couldn't believe what they were seeing when hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby appeared to interrupt a couple 'having sex' during the Spin to Win segment yesterday.

The duo had called up a contestant called Matthew, who seemed to take a while to respond to the phone call.

But just as they were about to give up hope, he finally picked up - prompting Phillip to ask what had kept him for so long.

Matthew apologised, saying: "We were just busy."

Phillip replied: "Just busy?! Busy with what?! What's keeping you busy, Matthew?"

Matthew hit back innocently: "Er, just enjoying the time together."

But as Holly tried to move the conversation on, Phillip's jaw dropped as he realised what Matthew may have meant - cutting his co-host off by saying: "Hold on, hold on, hold on!"

Laughing, Holly waggled her finger at Phillip and said: "No, no, no!"

But it was too late, as Phillip had already continued his line of enquiry.

"Matthew, who are you in lockdown with?" he asked.

"Er, my wife," Matthew replied.

"And er, have you had a nice morning?" Phillip cheekily asked.

"Yes, I have, thank you," Matthew responded.

Motioning at Phillip to stop, Holly asked Matthew where he was calling from, to which he replied: "Newcastle."

With a huge grin, Phillip asked if Matthew's wife was close by.

"Yes," he replied, while his wife could be heard giggling in the background.

Phillip looked at Holly incredulously, saying with much excitement: "We've just caught them at it!"

Holly tried to argue that they hadn't, but many viewers shared Phillip's stance.

One tweeted: "Hahahahahamatthew didn't answer phone because he and his wife where making love #ThisMorning."

Another added: "Good for Matthew!!! #ThisMorning Go On Son!!!"

Eventually, Phillip's shock subsided and the game kicked off - with Matthew winning a holiday and a cool £250. Not a bad day all round, by the sounds of things.

"MATTHEW WAS HAVING SEX AND THEN WON A HOLIDAY AND MONEY!!!" a third Twitter user said.

"WHAT A MORNING!!! #ThisMorning."
