Details for Avatar: The Last Airbender have been a little sparse since it was first announced back in 2018, but now there's hope in sight as it looks like the series could be released on Netflix this year.
While nothing official has been confirmed just yet, the programme - which is a live-action remake of the TV series of the same name - already has a listing on the Netflix website.
And if you look closely, you'll notice that it says '2020' just underneath the title, which the eagle-eyed among you will realise is this year.
The programme description also offers: "Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. Then, everything changed. The animated show's original creators helm a live-action take on Aang's story."

Created by Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the original American animated TV series aired on Nickelodeon for three seasons from 2005 to 2008.
It combined elements of anime with American cartoons and told the story of 12-year-old Aang and his friends, who had to bring peace and unity to the world by ending the Fire Lord's war with three nations - The Northern and Southern Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom and the Air Nomads.
Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished.

Aang was the Avatar of his era, and was the only person capable of using all four bending arts: airbending, waterbending, earthbending and firebending.
When the project was first announced back in 2018, fans seemed fairly divided.
Some couldn't wait for the series to be revived, with one tweeting: "The childhood feeels omg."
Others, meanwhile, felt a little more protective of the original, with one person saying: "No no NO!!! Dont ruin it!!!"

Since Netflix released John Staub's concept art for the 'reimagined, live-action' series a couple of years back, information has been pretty thin on the ground.
However, with a likely 2020 release date, filming is believed to be kicking off soon.
As reported by FandomWire, Jessie Flower - who lent her voice to the character of Toph - recently appeared on the Word Crafts Chitchat Podcast, where she revealed that production for the new Netflix project was due to begin in February, or sometime in early 2020.
