Joker is in the running to win the most BAFTAs at this year's film awards, having been nominated in 11 categories.

All three have been nominated for best film and all three directors are up for the director award.

Phoenix and Leonardo DiCaprio have been nominated for the leading actor award, alongside Taron Egerton for his portrayal of Elton John in Rocketman.

Scarlett Johansson has been nominated in both the leading actress and the supporting actress category, for her roles in Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit, while Margot Robbie has been nominated twice in the supporting actress category for her roles in Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood and Bombshell.

The supporting actor category is populated by five of the biggest names in the business: Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Joe Pesci, Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins.
