​Keanu Reeves Is Back In Training For The Matrix 4 And John Wick 4

It looks like Keanu Reeves is back in training for his forthcoming turns as John Wick and Neo, having been pictured with the crew at Taran Tactical Innovations, the HQ for Hollywood gun trainer Taran Butler.

With lead roles in John Wick 4 and The Matrix 4, both set for release in May 2021, Reeves clearly has a busy year or two ahead of him.

And with that in mind, he's gone to see his old pal Taran Butler to get him ready for some more on-screen gun-slinging.

A post on Taran Tactical's Instagram page said: "I'm thinking he's back - Chapter 4. Keanu starting his training for John Wick 4 & Matrix 4."

Notice how Reeves' hand is hovering over the waist of the woman next to him, proving he's still as pure as ever.

It's not the first time the actor has worked with Butler - far from it, in fact.

In an interview with PewPewTactical a couple of years back, Butler explained why it was 'so good' to work with Reeves, saying he always gives it his all.

Butler said: "Keanu came out, and keep in mind I've trained other actors, and usually they just want like three or four hours of training one day so they don't have some dorky cup-and-saucer grip or something else stupid and blow it.

"Keanu wanted to be next level. He's kinda never satisfied, and you can see that in some of the YouTube videos where he wants to go again, try and go faster, get better and better, and that attitude is why he's so good."

While we're all hyped for the next instalment of the John Wick series, it's arguably the fourth Matrix flick we're most excited about, as it will be the first from the franchise in 16 years.

Along with Reeves, Lana Wachowski will return to write, direct and produce this latest effort, having recently received praise from Toby Emmerich, the chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group

He said: "We could not be more excited to be re-entering The Matrix with Lana.

"Lana is a true visionary - a singular and original creative filmmaker - and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in the Matrix universe."

Wachowski added: "Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now.

"I'm very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends."

John Wick 4 and The Matrix 4 are both due for release on 21 May 2021.
