Kevin Bacon has revealed he'd love to land a part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ahead of the UK release of his latest film, a psychological horror called You Should Have Left. You can check out the trailer for that flick right here:
Of course, we'd all take the opportunity to star in the world's biggest movie franchise if it was offered to us, but Bacon has almost definitely got a better shout than us.
Speaking to LADbible, he admitted: "I don't have a franchise character in mind, but yeah, of course I would.
"I would love to be [in another comic book movie] again. I love movies, and these kind of big movies and comic book kind of things are the thing that's keeping our industry afloat at this point.
"To be in something that has that kind of international appeal is certainly a lot of fun. I mean, I haven't really found anything or been sent anything it was in that world, but of course I'd be open to it."
To be fair, it's not the first brush with the Marvel world that Bacon has enjoyed. He featured in X-Men: First Class as evil mutant scientist Sebastian Shaw.
Of course, if you've seen that film you'll know a return to that character is impossible, but there is one franchise that has caught his eye, and there's potential there, for sure.

Especially now Jamie Foxx is crossing over as well.
Bacon continued: "In all genres, there's good examples and bad, and there's not as well made or not as interesting examples.
"For instance, Guardians of the Galaxy - those movies are amazing.
"And then there's other things that I'm not gonna mention here that you just come out and you go 'well, whatever. Lots of stuff blew up, who cares?'
"But I think that there's room to make good films across the board, across all genres."

Written and directed by David Koepp - who also wrote Jurassic Park, Carlito's Way, and Mission: Impossible - and starring Amanda Seyfried, the psychological thriller focusses on a couple trying to retreat from the world in a remote house in Wales.
However - as is so often the case - things don't go to plan, and it turns out there's a whole lot more to the house than they first imagined.
Produced by Jason Blum for Blumhouse Productions, the film is released in the UK as a DVD premiere on 12 October.
