Michael Bay's new flick 6 Underground dropped on Netflix recently and viewers are have been posting excitedly that it's the most Michael Bay film you could imagine. Here's the trailer to give you an idea:

Of course, being directed by the guy behind the likes of Transformers and Bad Boys, what would you expect other than wall-to-wall action and lots of noise? Well, it opens up with a 20-minute long car chase. What is more 'action film' than that?

Viewers have taken to Twitter to celebrate the film and all its glorious OTT-ness.

Bay has teamed up with the one and only Ryan Reynolds, as well as Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese for what's been described as 'a high testosterone mission movie'.

And with a $150 million (£115m) budget, you know there's going to be a s***load of next-level action sequences - not to mention star power.

Alongside Reynolds, you've got Good Omens actor Adria Arjona, Inglourious Basterds star Mélanie Laurent, If Beale Street Could Talk actor Dave Franco, BlacKkKlansman's Corey Hawkins and many, many more.

If that hasn't geared you up for some high-octane 'Bayhem', then maybe the official synopsis will: "What's the best part of being dead? It isn't escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record.

"The best part about being dead... is the freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you 'no'.

Reynolds is at the helm of the vigilante group.

"6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future.

"The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will."

In other words, a crew of vigilantes fake their deaths to bring down a bunch of notorious criminals, with Reynolds at the helm. Sounds like perfect viewing to me.
