Adult Swim has confirmed what everyone has been dying to hear: the second batch of episodes from season four.
Well, the TV network has revealed we will get to feast our eyes and ears on new episodes from May 3.

This means that audiences in America will be the first to get access to the newest episodes and everyone else will have to wait patiently until it appears on Netflix.
Please, let this not be an April Fool's Day joke.
While the trailer offers us a glimpse into the new season, we still have no clue what it will focus on.
This is the second big development from Adult Swim this week, after the network released a five-minute mini-episode of Rick and Morty.
Titled 'Samurai & Shogun', the two main characters we know and love have been transformed into anime.

Rick is dressed in a white kimono and is seen sitting on what looks like a Morty transportation device.
The patriarch of the family is suddenly confronted by a bunch of other Rick ninjas, dressed in black, hooded robes.
It's implied that Samurai Rick stole Shogun (a military dictator appointed by the Emperor) Morty and the ninja Ricks were going to kill him as a result.
In scenes very reminiscent of Kill Bill, Samurai Rick makes quick work of the ninjas, slicing and dicing them in rapid succession.

Animated blood explodes out of the ninjas before Samurai Rick is confronted with a giant Rick.
After defeating the huge Rick, the Samurai appears to be hit by hallucinogenic substance that temporarily stuns him.
But, just before the ninjas are able to kill their enemy, Samurai Rick snaps out of his daze and kills the remaining Ricks.

He then faces off against the apparent leader of the ninja Ricks, who quickly gets decapitated during a brief confrontation.
Samurai Rick then opens a portal and the mini-episode ends.
It's wild, unexpected and incredible.
