New Series From Creator Of The Stranger And Safe Is Now On Netflix

If you enjoyed watching Harlan Coben's The Stranger and Safe then you're in luck, because now another series based on the author's work has landed on Netflix. Here's the trailer:

Gone for Good is available to stream now and looks set to be an interesting watch.

The five-part French series revolves around Guillaume Lucchesi (Finnegan Oldfield), who thought he had drawn a line under the terrible tragedy which saw the two people he loved the most die: Sonia, his first love, and Fred, his brother.

A decade later, Judith, who he has fallen in love with, suddenly disappears while they're at his mother's funeral.

In his search to find her, he must face all the truths that were hidden from him by his friends and family.

In a statement, Coben said: "Netflix has been a wonderful partner in adapting my novels in a variety of countries, and it's a particular thrill to be making Gone For Good in France.

"I'm honoured to be working with this incredibly talented French cast and crew."

Damien Couvreur, Head of Original French series at Netflix, went on to add: "We are so excited that Harlan Coben and Calt Studio are bringing this gripping story to France.

"Gone for Good has all the ingredients of his great thrillers that have consistently sparked joy with our members."

The show is set in Paris and is based on Coben's book of the same name, which was published in 2002.

It is one of a number of international Netflix shows based on the author's work, after an adaptation of his novel The Woods transplanted the action from New Jersey, US to Warsaw, Poland last year.

It's clear that fans are excited to get their teeth into the series. Taking to social media, one person wrote: "I'm hooked on all your Netflix adaptations, so good."

Another added: "That's Friday night sorted!"

We couldn't agree more.

A third commented: "Check out Gone for Good on Netflix... a new ⁦⁦@HarlanCoben⁩ series has my weekend sorted! Big fan! Merci!"

Another said: "Don't miss it.. Derive from Harlan Coben's page turner thriller book that have amazing plot...[sic]"

Merci, indeed.
