Fans of new Bryan Cranston drama Your Honour are already calling for a second season, having been immediately hooked by the first instalment.

The Breaking Bad actor stars in the new drama as Michael Desiato, a New Orleans judge forced into a life of crime after his son is involved in a hit and run incident.

The synopsis from Showtime offers: "Bryan Cranston stars as a New Orleans judge who is forced to confront his own deepest convictions when his son is involved in a hit and run that embroils an organized crime family.

"As a storm of vengeance, lies and deceit threatens to engulf the entire city, Michael Desiato faces a series of increasingly impossible choices and discovers just how far an honest man will go to save his son's life."

The 10-part series, which comes from the producers of The Good Wife and The Night Ofand is an adaptation of Israeli drama Kvodo, premiered on US network Showtime back in December, but the first episode debuted in the UK on Sky Atlantic earlier this week - with the full box set also available to binge on Now TV.

The show already has many firm fans, with some saying they're desperate for a second season.

One tweeted: "There has to be season 2 of Your Honor! Wahaaaattt?!?!"

Someone else said: "Season 2 of Your Honor needs to come now!!"

A third said the show was 'crazy', adding: "Need a season 2."

Another wrote: "I need season 2 of Your Honor already."

According to Decider, as the show is billed as a 'limited series', there's a chance it may not return - although there is still hope.

"Technically, Your Honor is billed as a Showtime limited series (and competed in the limited series at the Golden Globes), so it's unlikely that there will be a second season," the site says.

"However, limited series have been renewed in the past - looking at you, Big Little Lies - so it's not impossible that fans could see Your Honor Season 2 in the future."

Watch Your Honor on Tuesdays at 9pm on Sky Atlantic or stream the whole box set via Now TV.
