An 'outstanding' Australian mystery series is premiering today on the BBC - and it's so good fans are already begging for more.
Originally airing back in Australia back in March, the new eight-part series follows a detective who has been moved to a remote town in the mountains of Victoria, Australia.
However, she soon realises that things aren't all they seem in the town, with a missing persons case leading to a 'complex web of murder, deceit and revenge'.

Starring Leah Purcell alongside Game of Thrones and Derry Girls star Ian McElhinney, High Country is set in the fictional town of Brokenridge and is based on real events.
Purcell plays the role of police detective Andrea 'Andie' Whitford, who is transferred to the town in order to investigate the mystery of five missing persons who somehow vanished into the wilderness.
However, as she ventures deeper into the investigation, Andie soon learns the case runs deeper than she could ever imagine. As well as that, her true identity and connection to the area are wrapped up in the investigation.

McElhinney plays Sam Dyson, the town's retiring detective, whom Andie has been brought in to replace.
Sara Wiseman, Aaron Pedersen and Linda Cropper are also among the supporting cast.
High Country has already received rave reviews from critics and viewers alike, with one person on IMDb revealing they were able to binge the entire series in just one day, adding that they hoped for a second season to be commissioned.
Fans were also quick to praise Purcell work in the series, with many on social media writing that she is the standout star of the series.

Announcing the decision to add the show to their roster, Sue Deeks, Head of BBC Programme Acquisition, said: "With its eerie setting and tense atmosphere, High Country is a gripping new take on Australian rural noir."

High Country will premiere tonight (13 July) BBC One, all eight episodes are also currently available to watch on iPlayer.
